Shinrone! Where's that?
|
| Where is Shinrone I hear you ask! We are a very rural parish in the centre of Ireland. Situated between the town of Roscrea, County Tipperary and Birr, Co. Offaly. Dunkerrin is on the main Limerick to Dublin road, while Kinnitty is the gateway to the Slieve Bloom mountains. In between is Shinrone, a thriving village with 4 pubs and 2 shops and a large agricultural merchant business. Aghancon is also under the Slieve Blooms, Leap Castle being the fortified entrance to the O'Carroll country. |
