| Built in 1818 with a loan from the Board of First Fruits of 1,200Punts. The Minchin family of Busherstown is remembered on memorial tablets and also on the marble pulpit which was their gift. The Rolleston family of Frankfort Castle (now demolished) were also benefactors to the church, having given the font. |
| A notable feature at the entrance to the church grounds are .the arches. which were built in 1757 and used by local people as market stalls. They were restored in 1983. From early times there has been a parish church here. History records Dermit O'Dublaney as the 'Vicar of Dunkeeryn'. |
